1. What questions should I be asking if I want a complete quote for works?
An important detail to ask, when obtaining a quote from us is to see our Registration or builders insurance sometimes called Proof of license. You can check the details and credentials of us with the respective authority in the country. All project bidders are to provide complete documentation of their insurance details.
2. What projects have Bedrock Civil Engineering worked on before?
To allow you to see a comprehensive range of projects worked on before, you can ask for the past history of work and the client details from us as a means of reference. This can help inspect project efficiency of us as the contractor, before accepting the quote. See our Case studies page for information on our projects.
3. Will you obtain the permits and set up the inspections required for this job?
Not every job requires permits or inspections, but most remodelling projects that change structure or routes do require them. Your contractor should not only know what kind of permits you need and how to get them, but also be willing to get them for you.
4. Is there a warranty for your service or for the materials you’ll be using?
Most contractors offer a warranty or guarantee on their work and it’s important to know ahead of time what it covers and how long it will remain in effect. Additionally, the materials used on your project do have a manufacturer’s warranty.
5. Insurance?
Bedrock is fully insured up to £10,000,000.
