Richard Lucas – Operations Director
Richard comes from a contracting background spread over 20 years where he has worked for several major companies. He has been employed on many and varied civil engineering projects throughout the South West of England and has progressed through Site Management to Contracts Management, before co-founding Bedrock Civil Engineering.
With specialism in all elements of civil engineering and groundworks, specifically around large highway projects, and those that include sewers.
Richard’s qualifications include Civil Engineering Site Manager CSCS Accreditation, Roads and Streets at Supervisor Level, CITB Site Management Safety Training (SMSTS), First Aid at Work, completed a Safety Leadership course, Manual Handling Facilitator, and N.V.Q Level 2 and 3 in Construction and Civil Engineering site supervision (Road Building). IOSH Safety for Executives and directors certified (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health)

John Williams – Commercial Director
John possesses 35+years’ experience in civil engineering and groundworks. 20 years of this were spent as a Civils Director for a large Blue chip company, regularly managing infrastructure projects of up to £5 million.
His specialism is in all aspects of highway construction which includes the traditional and reinforced concrete substructures, deep drainage projects and underground structures.
With excellence in financial management, contract administration, estimating and surveying, materials scheduling and buying; John will ensure your project is on time and in budget to the exacting standards required.
